Cardi B Says Nicki Minaj argument Was “Bad For Business”
Throughout the last twelve months, we’ve seen stars rise and fall. While several artists have had problems keeping their allure in 2018, Cardi B has turned into a pop culture phenomenon. As she continues to build her name, she was the subject of a great interview on CBS Sunday Morning. Maurice DuBois paid her a visit to speak on how her lifestyle has changed since her music catapulted her to superstardom.
Some believe that any kind of publicity can be viewed as good publicity. If people are talking about you, that’s a very good thing. Right? Not to Cardi B. She told DuBois that her argument with Nicki Minaj was essentially “bad for business” because it took the interest away from the product she offers to the world. “It’s unnecessary [to be involved in that kind of stuff, ]” she said. “You know a lot of people like to say, any publicity is very good publicity, to me it’s not because that takes away from people paying attention to your craft. It makes people not even care about your craft, they just wanna see drama.”
While Cardi consistently rules the news circuit, she is been featured even more heavily within the last week due to the fact of her recent Grammy nominations and her break-up announcement with Offset.
