Tekashi 6ix9ine Transferred To New Federal Facility For “Security Reasons”
Tekashi 6ix9ine Transferred
Reports on Tekashi 6ix9ine’s release from prison this Thanksgiving Thursday, November 22 happen to be shown to be both accurate and misleading.
TMZ has found that the human Hip Hop hot button has indeed been taken off|taken out of the notoriously violent Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center where he faces a “gang” of charges, but it was only a transfer to a federal facility renown for inmates who cut deals to cut prison time because of this.
Lance Lazzaro, 6ix9ine’s attorney, tells TMZ that the transfer was credited to “security reasons, ” for his controversial client had been threatened by gang members inside the MDC when he spent Wednesday night on the whole population.
The 22-year-old 6ix9ine (born Daniel Hernandez) reportedly also asked to specifically be moved to a unit away from both Crips and the Bloods (the latter being the gang he’s identified with through a small number of interviews and songs).
On a related notice, Lazzaro not only informed The Blast to his client was innocent because naturally, but he also maintains that 6ix9ine’s tough guy image is just for show … business.
“Daniel Hernandez is completely innocent of charges being brought against him, ” he said before clarifying that the rainbow color-haired rapper is “an entertainer who portrays a “gangster image. ”
Lazzaro also declined to comment on whether or not 6ix9ine was at the process of cutting a deal (a. k. a. “snitch”) on the other defendants in the racketeering case that holds a potential life imprisonment sentence.
